Andrew Pelletier ’95

Andrew Pelletier ’95 is an internationally active horn soloist, Grammy Award-winning chamber musician, masterclass clinician, and Professor of Horn at the College of Musical Arts, Bowling Green State University in Ohio, where he was named a Professor of Creative Arts Excellence in 2020.
Andrew’s solo tours have taken him to 30 US states, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, England, and Mexico. Dedicated to new music, he has commissioned and premiered over 50 new works for the horn as a solo voice, by a wide range of noted composers. As a chamber musician, he performs with Southwest Chamber Music in California (with whom he won the 2005 Grammy award for Best Classical Recording, Small Ensemble), and the
Motor City Brass Quintet in Detroit, among others. He is also the principal horn of the prestigious Michigan Opera Theatre and his numerous engagements as an orchestral performer include over five seasons with the Portland Symphony Orchestra in Maine.
